credit card info help

HI Ive asked before but got no reply. How much is it the carnival will autorize you credit card for your sign and sail upon embarkation? do they charge the same amount for small children( 5yr) how long does it take after to get the amount not used back onto my visa??? thanks 9 days to go

I think they actually place a hold on the funds on the card to check and see that you have that amount "available" for sail and sign. I try to take cash for the sail and sign, it keeps me in check. I admit I did go HOG wild on my first cruise though.

Hey I am 4cruising! I go on that ship in november with my mom! I guess we will both be having better weather than in Illinois. It has been so cold and windy, not cruise weather!

500, fer a couple.

no idea fer a larger party.

that was a 7 day on the pride, eastern carribean.

 

i now have a card which has 500 limit that i use for s&s, or seapass.

just pay it off after each cruise and don't use it fer other things
