Hi there,

 

We are on the 3/18 Transatlantic cruise. This is our first cruise ever. It's been very helpful reading the suggestions on the message boards. Does anyone know what the temperature will be as we get closer to Italy? Northern Italy is usually cooler in March/April. We're assuming we will need some warmer clothes as well as lighter clothes for the southern part of the trip.

Glad you're joining us-we're old-timers-this will be our 19th cruise.Looking forward to this one.Don't pay any attention to the negatives-your attitude toward the trip is all that matters.After all,you're on vacation,right? We're bringing winter and summer clothes-as we sail further north in the Atlantic,it should get a bit nippy! See you in Ft Lauderdale!

Thanks for the info. We're going from Genoa to Naples by train after the cruise to spend a couple of weeks with our kids and two grandchildren who live in Capo Miseno outside Naples. We're really looking forward to this cruise. We definitely don't let the negative comments affect our excitement for the trip. We spend enough time in Italy to know that we will appreciate the food and the European atmosphere during the trip. Besides, if you can't find a way to enjoy what you're doing, you shouldn't be doing it!!
