Yes, they offer egg substitute in the dining room... I've never asked at the lido buffet however... wouldn't hurt to ask!!

fireofficer5 Posted February 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2006 You know egg beaters are egg whites with food coloring.
Cotton Posted February 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2006 Yes, I'm looking at the dining room b'fast menu. Under the listing for omelettes, it says: "Low-Cholesterol Egg Substitute Available Upon Request (Egg Beaters)" I tried the Ham & Cheese omelette with Egg Beaters once...very good!:)
cruisealot Posted February 20, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2006 My wife only eats egg whites, or egg beaters. In the past, when she has asked for an egg white omelette at the buffet station, I've watched the guy crack the egg, separate it, toss the yolk, and make the omelette with just the whites. cruisealot
Anatresia Posted February 20, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2006 I am glad to see this- my husband has an allergy to eggs and egg beaters do not bother him (in moderation) even though eating a whole egg does. He will be pleased to find out that omlettes are an option.:)
MeLuvDaSea Posted February 20, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 20, 2006 See? I learned something new and wonderful on this board in just the opening few minutes of my morning. I also use Egg Beaters at home and am glad to know this. Thanks CC'ers!! :)
LizaMM Posted February 20, 2006 #9 Share Posted February 20, 2006 My BF eats egg beaters. He was able to get egg substitute in tge Dining Room. On the Lido Deck he could get egg whites prepared at the omelete station. As a previous poster said....Egg Beaters are egg whites with coloring and some spices added. BF said the the egg wgite omelete on the Lido Deck was very tasty.
