Pictures taken between Monday, December 13 and Sunday, December 19.

Just a heads up to the PAW followers. Due to the fact that the days left over after all the weeks of the year are numbered have added up over the years, Week 52 of the 2021 Picture-A-Week project will run for 14 days from December 20 to January 2 to realign with standard week numbering. Obviously, more pictures are needed to celebrate "Leap Week"! 🙂

We have had a lot of photos submitted this year, so thanks for playing along and sharing the little bits of your lives captured in your photos. Let's keep it up when year eleven of this project starts on January 3, 2021!

Happy Shooting!

Rules: See above

That's it. This isn't a contest.

All photos taken this week are welcome (not just cruising).

Prizes will not be awarded. Discovering the joy of photography is the prize.

The idea is to get folks out using their cameras for more than vacations and toddler birthdays.

Post one. Post many. Up to you.

Have fun with your camera and share your fun with others!

Last week I featured a photo of Jackie skating in the "wild". Though I try to find variety in my weekly images, this shot of Jackie in her Christmas skating show costume fit right in with choosing pictures that tell a story. The story is about a little girl that loves skating. She goes to practice and works hard to perfect what she knows and isn’t afraid to try something new. Her brother is the same with his hockey. At five and eight years old, they have a better work ethic than most adults. The result was a routine with many times the difficulty of last year’s with no falls and only a few stumbles (we’re blaming it on wet ice...). It wasn’t a competition, but she skated to “Run, run Rudolph” like it mattered. It did. To her. That tells you a lot about Little Miss Jackie.

For this week, I started out still in Disney World - on the 13th, I was at Animal Kingdom park for the day, so will share a few photos from there.  Then on December 19th, I got the chance to get back out to my local wetlands again back home, so I'm also sharing some photos from there...
