Is a ast minute afternoon island tour possible?

Hi all,

 

My family (me, DH, 2 sons 9 and 11) will be in Aruba for 1 long day early March. We are doing the Atlantis submarine in the morning ( 9a - 11a?). I would like to see some of the island, but DH wants beach time with the boys. I can't imagine spending the rest of the day on the beach.

 

How hard would it be to get a short island tour mid afternoon? Is there a tour company I can check with, or should I just hire a taxi and pick 2 or 3 things I'd like to see?

I think for your your circumstance it would be easiest to hire a taxi. Tell the driver you would like a "however many" minute tour or you would like to see such and such and such and such sites.
