Included excursion details

HI - we will be doing a Memphis to New Orleans on the American Duchess later this spring.  I'm wondering if anyone has more details on the included excursions at each stop.  I know that in general there are HOHO busses and that bikes are available, but I'm looking for more details as to which attractions are included to help plan out which Premium excursions to look into.

On the American Queen website, click on "Book Shore Excursions" under "Your Voyage". Then click on "BOOK TODAY" in the middle of the page. You can also get there directly by going to reservemyexcursion.com.

 

Click on your ship "AMERICAN DUCHESS"; then click on "CONFIRM AND CONTINUE". You will see a list of voyages. Click on "SEE DETAILS!" by the dates for your specific voyage.

 

Now comes the not so obvious part. The list you see now lists only the premium excursions - not the included ones. You will need to take one more step to see the included excursions. Click on "PRINT PAGE" at the top of the page and wait - it takes a while.

 

You will see a download of a PDF file. You may either open it online or download it to your computer - I would recommend downloading it. This PDF file lists all excursions - both premium and included. For the HOHO tours, it lists and describes the included stops.

We did that trip in Sept.. right after Ida. A lot was closed, BUT we lover Baten Rouge air boat adventure. Also wanted to do the prison in St. Francisville, due to Ida and covid could not. rest of the time hoho was great, but we would walk  from stop to stop and get on at the end. Also did the Vicksburg tour of the battle field VERY GOOD. Ida and covid held us back. GREAT TRIP. ENJOY.
