Spirit - difference between balcony and inside cabin?

is there any difference besides the obvious, that it has a balcony? they just called and said i could upgrade to a balcony for $300 and i wanted to figure out if it would be worth it.

Take a look at http://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/ships.htm, where you may get a feel for the difference - if any other than the balcony.

There is not a huge difference in size, but there is one. I believe an inside is 149 sq ft. while a balcony is 161 sq. ft. But I will say that I had a balcony on the SPIRIT and friends had an inside, the floor seemed bigger in the inside simply because of how the beds were placed (at the far end from the door against the back wall vs. sideways in the room because of the glass doors). In addition, the balcony had a small couch while the inside had a chair and the bathrooms were different too. Balcony had a dividing door between the toilet and sink area while the inside did not.
