Hal casino offers

I have never seen this on the HAL website.  One thing I do is to log in using the casino players mariner number and then do an open search for all cruises in a given time period (I sometimes filter out areas that I have no interest in).  When I see a VERY low price advertised, I know it is a casino offer cruise.

Recent example is a free cabin to Alaska offer.  When I review the Alaska sailings I see some at $200, which means "free cabin" due to how HAL handles this.

Yep! Listen to DaveOKC. He is spot on!

It will show as $200 pp but that's just the deposit. You will get the $200 pp back as OBC (On Board Credit). Yesterday I noticed Carnival is doing something very similar. Some Mex Riv cruises were showing as $120 pp but you get $100 back as OBC.
