Horseback riding Cabo

Has anyone done the Horseback riding?  If so do they have something you can stand on to get on the horse?

I have and yes they will usually have a small stool (not a platform) this was off the beach (an organized excursion might be different).  To be 100% honest, the horses were a sad looking bunch not large and healthy by any standards...I felt sad for them and didn't enjoy the experience as much as I had hoped...but again an excursion might be 100% different.

It was a couple years ago. If I remember right there as a low table or stool or something that they used to help a few people get on to the horses.  I don't remember using that but they did help me get on.
