Overnight Parking Near Kauai Cruise Port (Nawiliwili)

Hello, we are FINALLY visiting Hawaii by cruise after 4 long years of booking and covid cancellation.  Our cruise docks in Kauai (Nawiliwili Harbor) at 8:30am on Day 1 and departs at 4:45 PM the following 2nd day.  We are looking to rent a car since we've heard Ubers are very limited; however, I can't seem to find any definitive direction on where we can park the car nearby the port overnight.  I read about possibly Harbor Mall or Anchor Cove but those posts are a few years old and not sure if they are still current, or if there are other options.  We don't mind paying obviously, I just need to know where I can easily and safely park the car overnight since we have a very early morning trip the next day.

We were on the may 14th sailing and there was a lot of free parking on the street in front of the port near the park. Also across that street there is a small road with an apartment complex, there is a lot of street parking right there ( this is where we parked, street name is Wilcox Rd).
