Princess Cay handicapped accessible?

Hi everyone,

Have been to most cruiseline islands but never Princess Cay.  Can anyone tell me it has paved pathways or is it all dirt/sand?  Have a fold up mobility scooter (yes, it can be carried right on the tenders) but don't know if it is usable on Princess Cay or not.  TIA for any info you can give.

I have been there once and I remember a paved walkway to the right after you get off the tender.  I mostly stayed on the right side but will be back in 3 weeks and will see if I can provide more information on your question.

  • 4 weeks later...

I just returned and can report that Princess Caye is accessible for handicapped.  They have wide paved paths all on the left as you get off the tender and there were a lot of folks in wheelchairs and on the tender back to the ship there was a lady on a scooter so if you a fold-up one you should have no issues.  They all seem to have no problems helping handicapped get off and on the ship and tenders.  I really enjoy my time on Princess Caye and hope you have a great time.
