Covid Testing Pre-MSC Cruise Port Civitavecchia September 2022

Hi. Larry here from Hilo, Hawaii. Embarking in Rome for my first MSC cruise. 

Since I am traveling so far to get to Rome, I will have to get my PCR or Antigen test once in Italy in order to adhere to the MSC pre-boarding test policy. 

Does anyone know if it is easier to get the pre-cruise test at Fiumicino airport once I land or will I be able to find a pharmacy in Civitavecchia?

Will be arriving day before the cruise so I have time to get the test.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

copied from another posting. We emailed the pharmacy and booked.

 

"I was able to arrange a covid test in the town of Civitavecchia for my wife and myself the day before the cruise,  The price was 10 Euros each.  I emailed them at farmaciapaoloturchi@gmail.com  to make an appointment and received an answer the next day for an appointment.  Thought this might help some who were staying in Civitavecchia. if you wanted to get a test there.  "
