Vacation starting In Puerto Vallarta before cruise in Orlando, What happens if I test positive in Mexico?

Looking for advice for vacation insurance. Booked  vacation myself, probably not a good idea but too late now, Flying to Puerto Vallarta and then flying directly to Orlando For A b2b Mardi Gras Cruise in early 2023. My first cruise has insurance on it thru Carnival but not the second one yet. Does anyone have any suggestions about getting coverage for the whole trip or if its necessary and I can just go thru Carnival directly? Someone suggested insuremytrip. I spoke to them and they told me if I tested positive for Covid in Mexico no insurance would cover except maybe trip delayment. That wouldn't help me thought because if I got sick in Mexico I assume when I could fly I would want to go home, not on a cruise.
