Dolphin Excursion In Nassau--Worth it?

Can anyone tell me if they have had a recent experience with a dolphin swim excursion at either Blue Lagoon or Balmoral Island in Nassau and if so, how was it?  In addition, is it better to purchase before the cruise or is it better to wait until you are on the ship and a possible discount is offer on shore excursions??  We are sailing on Carnival so any info about prepurchasing an excursion or waiting until on the ship for a possible discount would be greatly appreciated.

We did the encounter years ago it was a great experience.  Not sure post covid.

We did it last October.  Loved it!  Blue Lagoon isn’t much good for swimming but if you like sea creatures, it’s fantastic!
