Planning to fly in and out of Seattle. Thoughts?

We are planning to fly in and out of Seattle 2023. Stay in Seattle night before cruise (NCL: Encore). It is cost effective but end up touring less of Alaska. 

Looking for thoughts, ideas, suggestions of hotel, what to do in Seattle. TY!

We stay at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront.  It's right across from the NCL terminal.  It's a little pricier but its a nice hotel and is within walking distance to Pike's Place Market.  It's not too far of an uber ride, maybe 5-10 minutes depending on traffic, to go to the Space Needle/Chihuly gardens area.

Look over on the West Coast Departures board. Dozens of threads there.

 

Seaman be pretty expensive downtown during cruise season.  But staying downtown makes many of the sites pretty walkable. Highly recommend staying downtown.
