B2B Question Regarding Liquor Purchase

We know that when you buy liquor on board in the Fun Shop, you pick it up on the day you disembark.    When doing a B2B, if we were to purchase liquor on the first leg of our trip, would we be able to pick it up on the last day and then bring it to our room to enjoy on the second leg of our trip?    We are just curious if anyone has done this and what your experience was.   If we have to pick it up at the very end of our trip, I will just order a bottle of liquor online to have delivered to our room and not make a purchase in the Fun Shop.

Thank you.

I've done it before and was allowed to retrieve it the morning of the first debarkation and take it back to the cabin. You can also try buying after 5pm the night before. Some ships allow you to take it back to the cabin while others do not.

I have not personally done a B2B (yet!), but the answer to your question is on Carnival's website:

Alcohol Purchased in Port or Onboard (The Fun Shops):

Alcohol will be stored for safekeeping until the end of the final voyage. The retained items will be available for collection in a designated lounge on the morning of debarkation.

Not that I would ever advocate for bending the rules 😉, but I recall reading a hypothetical situation where a person on a B2B made friends with a non-B2B person from a different cabin on the first voyage. Said friend may have purchased an item that was delivered to their cabin on the last night of their cruise which may have ultimately made its way to a different cabin, if you get my drift.
