Endicott Arm Fjord & Glacier Explorer excursion (Quantum/Ovation OTS)

Anyone who has done this excursion who can compare it to the experience of staying on board and viewing the glacier? It looks really cool but we are a family of 4 and I am trying to determine if it’s worth the $800 cost. Thanks!

I'm looking at the same (except it's Hubbard glacier explorer, from Serenade) - it's the only excursion I REALLY want to do, but it would cost $1,176 for a family of 4...  I just don't think I can justify that.  I hope viewing from the ship still provides a good experience!

Im doing it, but not until September. We are fortunate that there are only two of us. It was about $500 but once I saw some reviews, it became non-negotiable.

I would not equate the Hubbard excursion with the Tracy Arm excursion.  Haven't done Hubbard excursion but the approach to the glacier is nothing like Tracy Arm.
