Mykonos Transportation from Port

We arriving via Oceania Riviera on July 13th to Mykonos, 7 of us, going to Super Paradise Beach Club.  Reading all kinds of info on the internet, trying to figure out how to get there (arranging beforehand online if at all possible) from the Port, how long it will take, and a reputable company to use for transportation once we're there to ensure we get back to the ship on time.   And any other tips we need to know for our day in Mykonos. Thank you!

Firstly, you'll need to figure out if you'll be tendering or docking.  The New Port dock is about 1-2 km north of the Old Port, so you'll need to catch a free shuttle from the bus station on the north part of the Old Port or catch a water bus from the southern portion of the Old Port.

Another issue that you need to content is that compared to other Greek islands, taxis on Mykonos are almost non-existent (supposedly, 30 taxis for the whole island).  Uber or Lyft don't operate there either.

You'll need to do what most people do and catch a bus from Mykonos' Chora.  However, most buses to the some of the party beaches (i.e., beaches between Ornos Beach and Elia Beach) go from Fabrika bus station on the southern end of Chora.  You'll need to walk across Chora to find the Fabrika bus station. Luckily, Superparadise beach is one of those beaches where buses go to.

See more at https://www.mykonosbeachesguide.com/transportation/mykonos-buses.html , but take it with a grain of salt: I trust Greek bus schedules about as much as gas station sushi.  Don't take the last possible bus from the beach back, especially with 7 people; you have no fallback.

Just wondering how you found this experience at the Beach Club?  Was just checking out the website and it looks pretty tempting.  Did you have an easy time getting there?  Thank-you.

It would be nice if those who asked questions here would come back after the cruise and give us some feedback. 😒
