What kind of public transporatation is there from Orlando airport to Port Canaveral ?

How much does it cost and how long is the ride?

Does Carnival have buses at Orlando airport as an alternative and if so, what is Carnival charging?

You can purchase the Bus transportation from Carnival 2 weeks prior to your cruise or wait and do it at the baggage claim area desk it is $50.00 per person round trip and the ride is about 45 to hour.

Good morning Racer,

You have to set it up with Carnival before your departure date (not sure how much before) for your transfers to and from the ship. It is $50 each way per person. It is about 45 minutes to an hour away from the airport. I am going down the day before the cruise and renting a car from AVIS then I will return the car the next morning near the port and take the AVIS shuttle to the ship. I am using the Carnival bus transfer to get back to the airport.

Other people will recommend limo's and other types of shuttles, even renting both ways, it all depends on how many of you are there and what your budget is. There are alot of knowledgable people here on these boards who will also give you names of companies and how to contact them.

Good luck!!

I used Basik Shuttle to go from Port Canaveral to Orlando airport in January.
Cost for a lincoln Towncar for 3 people was $70.00.
Lots cheaper than the Carnival bus.
You could contact them and maybe get on a van with other folks going to the pier also for less.
They were very nice and helpful.. The Phone number is 1-877-459-1177 and their website is at www.basikshuttle.com

I am still not clear on the Carnival prices. Is it $50.00 R/T per person or $50.00 Each way per person? That would make a huge difference of $100.00

I am also thinking of just renting a car to pick-up at the airport and drop off in Cape Canaveral then after the cruise rent a car again to drive back to the Airport.

I do appreciates everyone's information though..

Thanks
