Just taking a second to say a big thank-you to TrentS for all the info you posted regarding shopping and restaurants on 17th street. We spent 2 nights at the Extended Stay America and it was perfect for what we were looking for.....much better location then we booked first off. The info you posted was spot on and helped us enjoy our 2 days here.

The Extended Stay was a great economy hotel and we loved the kitchenette. They were very good to us.....our flight was to arrive at 7pm BUT we ended going early and arriving at the hotel by 11:30AM....way to early to checkin BUT the wonderful staff found us a room and let us check in then.....the room was actually $10 more a night but they didn't even charge us that....we were very happy with this hotel. Close to everything we needed.....and a nice walk up to see the Port!

So thank you so much TrentS.....your info truely helped us enjoy our time here more fully!!

TrentS - l also want to thank you for all your help regarding hotels,etc. Can you tell me what restaurants are within walking distance of the Renaissance?
