Final payment date extended??

All of the normal cruise lines (P&O, Princess) that sale from Australia this time of year have opened up and are sailing. Big hooha regarding this on our local news with P&O ships coming into Sydney harbour couple months back. The crappy thing is that I payed the final payment early last week and received that email 2 days later.

On 06/9/22 at approximately 1619 hrs. Alaska time while we were docked in Sitka on Quantum all of a sudden the ship shook, power went out, and an immediate Bravo Call was announced in engine compartment 2. The power was out for approximately 27 minutes and our departure from Sitka was delayed about 3 hours. 

 

They probably don't want to send the ship across until engine 2 is either repaired or replaced. Royal has been very quiet on this incident.
