To address the OP's question, contact tracing has unofficially disappeared - except for direct cabin mates.  And even then, from all of the reports, the cabin mate is 'relatively free' to go around the ship, but is tested daily.  Shore excursions do not hold risk any longer as far as contact tracing goes, but this is totally unofficial - nothing like that would ever be posted as policy.
