When NCL cancels the cruise- do they change the FCC sail by dates?

Hi- I just got word that our Epic cruise (April 9 2023) has been cancelled due to charter. I booked with FCCs from long ago with an expiration date of May 31, 2023. Does anyone know how far these get extended in these situations? Or if they get extended at all? Been on hold with NCL for two hours....

I was cancelled as well and had an fcc that was applied.  The FCC would have expired but the PCC got approval to extend it.  Not sure how this going to work to reschedule.  I have done a courtesy hold for another cruise the week before and emailed what is supposed to be my new PCC as the original PCC is long gone.  Sucks to be honest.

The best option would be to push them for a refund. They may not do that, but it’s worth a try. That way you are not tied to a specific cruise line, using it by a certain date or even taking a cruise.
