Our original departure time for home was 10:30 am, airlines switched us to a 9:55 pm departure.  We will be disembarking on a Friday morning party of 4 with luggage.  Would appreciate suggestions on what to do before heading to the airport.  Is there a place to store luggage at the terminal or nearby?

Thanks

Depending on your airline; you can participate in Port Valet: https://www.portseattle.org/page/port-valet-enjoy-seattle-luggage-free

From Pier 66, you're right downtown. Pier 91 you'll need a quick Uber. You can explore the Chihuly museum, Space Needle, the Seattle Art Museum outdoor sculpture park, Pike Place. Skip the "first Starbucks" at Pike Place and head to the Roastery and Reserve Room in Capitol Hill. Grab a  ice cream cone from Salt and Straw. Get dinner at Din Tai Fung for dumplings. You can kill an entire day downtown before your flight, then grab the light rail directly down to the airport for $2.75pp.

Definitely look into Port Valet, we used it recently on our cruise as we had a 7:45pm flight and it worked flawlessly, our bags were delivered to SeaTac checked in and arrived waiting for us at ONT airport.  You can even check your bags status online.  We did the Space Needle and Chihuly museum and they have free lockers to store our backpacks we were carrying. Took the monorail to downtown and explored Pike's and the waterfront area. Light rail to SeaTac was easy from downtown.
