El Yunque Rainforest experience vs Arecibo/Rio La Plant waterfalls ?

We have been to El Yunque several times.  The hike to the largest falls may be a challenge, but worth it if you are able.  I recommend renting a car and going on your own.  Driving in PR is just like US and El Yunque is easy to find and navigate.  If you go with a tour, you are stuck to their schedule.  We like to go to the falls and take a swim, visit the smaller falls, climb the lighthouse - all at our own pace.  The beach is not impressive to me - I'd make a day at the Park.
