Topaz Photo AI

Just released version of Topaz' new amalgam package. It is a one-stop shop that combines Gigapixel AI,Sharpen AI and Denoise AI into a single process. I have always liked the Topaz products for their effectiveness and this iteration seems to be pretty effective.

Still playing around, but it has caught my interest.

 

FYI...there is still no substitute for a high-resolution image shot through a sharp lens under good conditions. This type of software is sort of the backup parachute when conditions are sub-optimal and the backup is providing a softer and softer landing as the tech progresses.

I have been using Topaz AI for the past few days to enhance some older photos and like the efficiency it brings.  Serious noise and focus issues are best left to the major Topaz products but for just a final touch to photos, the new Topaz AI is both a time saver and photo quality builder.

 

It works on both RAW and JPG files with the enhance "subject only" option a big plus.
