Nieuw Statendam Deck 7 cabins

So, we like using the stairs to get up to the outdoor pool & buffet (Deck 9), but I don't want to be right under them for noise (Deck 8), so I'm looking at Deck 7 inside.  There is "Neptune Lounge" near the cabins, like 7079 (no cabins around it) & the other group 7078+.  Is this a noisy area?  Thanks, Kris

Hi, Kris - we spent 18 days in July in 7090 which is directly across from 7079 and it was very quiet.  BUT if I were going to pick one, I'd probably skip 7079 because there is a larger crew area with stairs on one side and you might hear noise on that adjoining wall.  I'd also suggest avoiding 7078 (adjacent to small crew area) but any of those forward of there would be good, as long as the door opens to the Port side hallway (the Starboard side gets a bit more traffic due to the two additional doors into the Neptune Lounge and its food prep/storage areas).  We walked by all of those on Port side many times a day and it was very quiet.  Hope that helps!  Barb
