Island Princess and WiFi access to social media and more

I am currently on board the Sapphire Princess.  The WiFi here has blocks and hurdles making it a terrible, painful experience.  I am unable to upload photo files from a cloud type situation.  I was told it is blocked for security reasons.  My main social media site that starts with a F has been the most horrible, it just freezes and does not load any time of day I try. I can not send or reply to email (blocked) using my preferred method.  Internet manager told me it is because they give priority to streaming.  Overall a very unpleasant experience with the "fastest WiFi on the seas"  Yeah,right!  FYI, I am using a laptop not a phone for internet.

 

I have a very long cruise upcoming on the Island and wonder if the WiFi on her is also this bad.  I would like to hear from those on board the Island on how the WiFi is.
