Eastern Caribbean Itineraries

I’m  planning to book an Eastern Caribbean cruise with Msc but I am surprised and disappointed that Seascape will not visit the US Virgin islands like Seashore and earlier Seaside. It will be replaced with Nassau. Actually, it turns out that in the next two years none of Msc ships will go to St.Thomas. Does anyone have an idea why? Now almost every itinerary includes Nassau, and it's such an overrated place. In my opinion, Virgin Islands are much more interesting.

So far, I've only done two itineraries to the Western Caribbean, Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, Honduras, etc. Do you think the Seascape itinerary to Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic is still worth trying even without USVI, or maybe should I rather consider Seaside from Martinique or St. Maarten?
