Yobro Posted March 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2006 I just wanted to make a post about our day sail experience in St. Kitts. We had a wonderful day and were treated with a great day sail. We had a tough time finding a day sail on the island, but we ended up hiring Les Windley and his boat the Seadreamer. He was very easy to work with and communicated with us through email. He is out of Nevis so we took a taxi to the south end of the island and met him on a beach where he picked us up in his dingy. He then took us over to Nevis where we saw some beautiful views of that magnificent island. Nevis is just gorgeous. I would love to go back and visit someday. He is very friendly and a great host. After seeing much of Nevis, we travelled back to St. Kitts and did some snorkeling in some very calm, beautiful waters off the south end of the island. There were some nice reefs that we enjoyed all to ourselves. The lunch wasn't the greatest of all time, but sufficient. Other than that we highly recommend Les for a day sail option in St. Kitts. He is easy to work with and does a great job. We paid $520 for the four of us, and even though it was a little more than what we have paid for on other islands, it was worth it. Attached are a couple photos of Les and his boat the Seadreamer. You can reach him by email at: seadreamerles@caribcable.com or by phone at: (869) 469-9239.
