Visa for Australia/New Zealand

We are going on majestic princess Jan 13. Do we need a visa for this trip?  We weren’t told anything about this from our travel agent but from some research it looks like we do. Please let me know from those recent cruisers

You will need a visa for each country.

 

Typically done with the electronic process (assuming you are travelling on an appropriate passport, US etc).

 

The Australian ETA must be applied for through the app. Do it now in case of any glitches.

New Zealand has its own process.

Beware of third party sites offering the eTA etc (claiming a faster or easier service) - they are out to rip you off.  Possum52 has provided a link the official site.

Agree, some 3 party sites charge large fees for what you can do yourself
