Transport from San Pedro to John Wayne Airport

Has anyone done this lately and could share with me what worked for them? Was it über,Taxi or shuttle of some sort. Our flights aren't until 1:30pm so we have time to get there.

I recommend using Lyft. We usually park our car at the port but a few months ago we took a 1 way coastal from Vancouver to San Pedro. The Lyft/Uber timing & prices looked great when I checked before we left the ship but by the time we were at the curb they were higher and had longer waits. (Approx $50 to $75 and 5 min to 25 from what I remember). Lyft gave me an option of walking a little to get a better rate which we did. We walked less than 10 minutes out of the port to an apartment building parking lot across the street. The Lyft was there in a few minutes and we were home to Newport Beach in less than an hour for about $50.

Uber worked too, but Lyft was a little cheaper. 
if you haven’t flown in or out of SNA before you are in for a treat. Small, friendly & easy to navigate.

I've heard that about John Wayne airport. Definately looking forward to it. Lax is hard when you have a long wait for late in the day flights. Looking on your signature we're also in the 1.28.23 cruise.

Lyft is a bit less than Uber, but we've found Uber to be better (car & driver). If the rideshare can't get there quickly, a taxi is fine and around $120.
