Couple of questions for a first time P&O cruiser

I’m due to go on Iona in a few weeks & first time with P&O.

In the Casino playing the machines not tables do you use cash notes or coins? Or do you use your sea pass card? If using sea pass card does money come off your onboard credit?. Hope that makes sense.

I see there’s 4 main rooms. Which out of the 4 do people recommend dining in?. I’m going to try and prebook as I want to know I’ll be able to get a table for 6 including wheelchair. But I know there’s lots of options for different places at dinner time.

thanks Dillie

You use your cruise card to establish a line of credit, which is charged to your registered credit card. It does not come off your OBC.

Re the casino. On slots you put your card in and then a note..£10 or whatever. The Tables you put your notes on and the croupier changes them for chips. You cannot use OBC for the casino as it is a separate entity to the cruiseline.Any winnings on slots goes onto your cardand can be cashed at the casino cashiers only. Any chips you have left are exchanged for higher ones on the table and then cashed at the cashiers. You can do as TigerB says  or use cash on the tables. You always have to show your card before playing the tables.
