We visited this port on an Azamara cruise this week

Heard lots of grumbles about the ship excursions

To be honest the port itself is not much

We booked a tour with Euris at Samana Tourist Services & was very happy

Good communication & pick up & an excellent tour to 3 beaches by boat

I'd recommend him if you are visiting Samana 

Hopefully this helps the people visiting this quiet port
