Elo dolly Posted May 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2004 Just wondering how do I go about getting permission to have copies made of photos taken by Carnival. Could always do it before, but now places say that they can not be copied, because Carnival has the copy right for them. Even at the do-it-yourseld machines they tell you the same thing. Is there a special address or e-mail address to do this? Thanks! Our 5th cruise on the VALOR leaving in......

zonemasconi Posted May 26, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2004 I have never needed a permission slip or release to reproduce a picture I bought on the ship. I just came back from the sensation and brought some to my local rite-aid had no problem with them. the person has to come and put their password in each time. the machine asked if you know about the copyright laws click yes and go onward. Click here for my Cruise Pics ***PROUD MEMBER O.A.T.C.*** Opinions expressed by the poster are not necessarily the opinions of Cruise Critic or the Independent Traveler. Tropicalconcrete Posted May 26, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 26, 2004 Or just use a quality scanner and Kodak paper with a good photo software. I have always done mine at home. They usually come out better then at the drug store.
