Shore Excursions

We were planning on a South American cruise next month and took a look at the excursion offering.   VERY surprised at the costs ($100-nearly $1000).  In the past 4 Regent cruises we've taken  (disclaimer, before Covid), there were several that were free or almost free.

 

On the trip we're thinking about, it would be very easy to rack up some big bucks.

I believe you are looking at the Retail price.  Refer to the Tour price for your cost.

For first port 3 of the 4 are free.

From your post, I assume that "retail price" is from another shore tour company.  In my post, I was wrong about the lack of "free" shore excursions.
