Getting the best price?

Finally decided to bite the bullet and go on our first cruise! We are lucky to have a window of opportunity to go end of August/September and I'm not picky about the destination as long as it leaves from Southampton.

I'm currently watching prices and availabilities but don't know if I should wait until the 90 day payment window when some more cabins may become available or wait until just before sailing to grab a bargain - or am I just deluding myself 😀

I booked through a major UK travel agent.  It quickly became clear that if I combined the cruise with at least one other travel element (I chose one night hotel stay post-cruise) they could access a significantly lower price for the cruise than was available direct with the cruise line.

If I booked just the cruise, all they could do was match the online price.
