Balcony cabin choice on Mariner

Recommended Posts

I'm planning on booking two balcony cabins on the Mariner for the 09/10 sailing. There are a couple of rooms available on decks 8 and 9 just next to where the ship bows out in the middle. Would this be a good location for a balcony? Not sure if the view would be somewhat obstructed. Also, any other suggestions for cabin location or for that matter anything else related to the Mariner would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

We were on the Mariner a couple of years ago and had a cabin right in the middle of the hump (bow in the middle). Cabin location is great as you are close to the elevators and you have a great view up and down the ship if you are directly in the middle. There is no obstructions unless you are on the side of the hump; then you can't see much in front or behind depending on where you are. Grap them while you can, it will be a great choice. Have a great trip.

Hey Rick we are booked in 8618 on the 10 sept mariner cruise. Hump cabins are our first choice since we started sailing on the larger ships... Your view will be obstructed in one direction depending which side of the hump you are on as far as looking straight down the line of balconies of that deck. Needless to say normally the hump cabins --18 or --20 on all the decks are usually the first booked.

BTW if you do book on this cruise, come join our roll call..here is the thread http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=271159
