Considering Spirit in Feb'2007

Hi All!

I am an experienced cruise. I have been on 4 so far. 2 on Princess 1 on RC and 1 on Celebrity and have enjoyed them all!

One thing that interest me is that this cruise leaves from NY city. I live up in Syracuse and it is always a long travel day for us to get to the Florida ports. I love the idea of just getting on one plane and getting to the ship in 2 hours.

For those that have done NCL and the Spirit I have a few questions.

My husband loves to Golf. Do they offer good golfing excursions in St. Thomas or the BVI or the DR?

We ar bringing our boys with us. They will be 18 and 12. Is there enough on board for them to do? I do not plan to let them wander about unattened for any length of time.

( that is one of my pet peeves on a cruise is gangs of kids wandering around with out adults causing trouble)

Is it worth it to get the soda cards for the kids?

I appreciate any input

Thanks!
