Local dining in Costa Maya

Does anyone who has been to Costa Maya have any special or unique places to eat ?  Several years back, one street off of the Boardwalk

was a small local place with delicious local dishes and well liked on these boards.  I believe the owners' name was Don Francisco or Fernando.  Thanks for your suggestions or information.

You're recalling 100% Agave.

 

No longer in business.    Some people like the lobster and other dishes at Krazy Lobster.  If you'r ewiling to do an All Inclusive, Jaime's on the malecon or Hayhu a bit further south have excellent food.

For non AI I suggest La Chilangaloense or Maramao both aloong the malecon.
