Choice of dining room on Royal for Dine my way.

Initially Looking to pre book dining on Royal for our NZ cruise.  Which restaurant would you choose, Allegro or Concerto?

Hello,  I have booked my time dining on RC for the NZ cruise , I don't remember being given a choice of dining room & can't see that I have to be at one or the other.

we are on RC from Brisbane on a short 5 day cruise leaving on the 26 Feb.

 

we have My time dining but we’re not given any choice.  When I went to book a time only very late times were available.

 

on a Med cruise last year we went and saw the Matre ‘D as soon as we got on the ship and he gave us a better time.  We will do the same this time and hope for the best.

I believe the OP is referring to Royal Princess, not Royal Caribbean. Maybe Princess fans here can help.

We were on Majestic Princess in December.   It has 3 dining rooms, Allego, Symphony and Concerto.  I prebooked before  cruise for 7.20pm each night and just for fun alternated them on a 3 nightly cycle.   Turned up about 7pm each night and was seated with no problem.

 

Back on board  in ten days time.  This time I have  booked Allegro for majority of nights as we are in cabin R735 which means we can access it easily via the Aft lifts.

 

All restaurants have exact same menu.  Either book the one easiest to get to from your cabin or alternate just for the fun of it.  All are nice venues with wonderful staff,
