Pickleball question for Conquest cruisers

For anyone who has been on Conquest since they added the dedicated pickleball court, was there a reservation/signup system or just play when it was open? We played in the tournaments on a couple of the ships that have the sport court that they also use for pickleball and the only time you could play would be during the tourneys as it was also the basketball court. TIA

Just off the Panorama, obviously not the Conquest, and pickleball was offered only 1 time the entire cruise and while they called it a tournament it was not. It was 1 hour of play a game to 5 and rotate out.
