HELP! Lost birth certificate!

We have misplaced's my hubbie's birth certificate! Cruise is just 43 days away. I think I've read that Carnival will even accept an expired passport (initial date 1988). Do you still have to have the birth certificate if you have an expired passport? I need to get busy getting a new BC if the expired passport isn't enough.

Don't panic The passport can be expired up to 10 years... and you don't need a BC if you have a passport

ah...I feel your pain and panic. From what I've read here, you should be ok. My SIL called immigration (see post titled OMG....) and there are several things they will accept. Have a great cruise! Love, Juliah

Hey everyone, thanks for the clarification. I remembered reading about the acceptance of expired passports before, just couldn't remember if I still needed a BC along with it. This eases my mind and now I can get back to plans for our cruise!
