smurf1635 Posted March 8, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2023 Transatlantic has been on our bucket list for years! Virgin Voyages also on bucket list. Love NCL and have missed them (haven't cruised with them since before covid). Virgin is Oct 29, 14 nights, NCL Nov 20, 11 nights (actually already booked on Prima). Is the weather in Spain that much better in Oct vs Nov? I'm so tempted to switch to Virgin...... Thoughts?
chefchick Posted March 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2023 In the past four months I have sailed Virgin and the NCL Prima. Prima was a lovely ship and I am platinum on NCL. Scarlet Lady was my first time sailing with VV. I just booked the October TA on the Valiant Lady so that might tell you how much I loved sailing Virgin. But without knowing you and your likes/dislikes regarding cruise lines, I’m not sure I would suggest your first time cruising with any new (to you) line being a long (14 nights) repositioning cruise.
AussieOmni Posted March 12, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2023 We immediately booked our TA on Virgin while on board. So definitely loved Virgin although never done a TA on them.
Rare YouthD Posted March 25, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2023 We're super excited for our TA on Valiant Lady in October! It'll be our first time in VV.
NoBoozeCruise Posted September 15, 2023 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2023 What did you book in the end? And yes the weather is far better in Spain in September than November.
