Seaweed Blob heading to Bahamas?

Lots of talk on the news today about a giant seaweed "blob" heading towards Florida, Mexico, Texas, etc.  Not much mention of the Bahamas... is it going to be a problem in April/May?

Nothing in Eleuthera (Princess Cays) yet.

It is expected to hit here in the summer: around July.  Usually sticks around until the fall.

 

My town is already making plans for how to deal with it, once we get hit.  Some is already showing up, but not in massive amounts yet.
