Dining options on Gem after boarding

Is the dining room open for lunch when u board in NYC?
 

I hate  being herded to the buffet after boarding

The Grand Pacific (the larger of the two MDRs) will be open.

O'sheenan's is open, and it's really good.

RBrowny is right. We went to O'Sheehan's for a nice, relaxed lunch then had a nap before venturiing out around 3 or 3:30.  The last 6 or 7 Norwegian/Bermuda cruises, we have booked our cabin near O'Sheehan's and have already done so for May, 2023.

O'Sheehan's is great for breakfast and also for a nightcap late..Open 24 hours!
