Age Requirement Fitness Center

I have found online that you have to be 16 to use the fitness center.  Is that unsupervised?  We will be on Explorer of the Seas over Spring Break and my son who is an athlete will be a month shy of 16.  Can he use the Fitness Center if I am with him?  Can not find the answer.  Thanks

He should have no problems.

 

My kids used it before they were 16

Maybe go with him the first time.  At least to see him started.  

 

When my oldest girls grew old enough to be in the Solarium, I talked to them about being allowed into an "adult area", and I talked to them about behaving like adults and behaving as ambassadors for other young people.  Never had any problems.

I don't think it will be an issue. I have witnessed teens in the fitness center putting the work in and using the equipment with respect as well as respecting others.
