Waitlisted Excursion Question

We have a waitlisted excursion that we were just notified has cleared. We have a paid excursion in that same port. Will Regent automatically switch us to the newly cleared excursion? And will they refund the paid one? We have already made final payment for the cruise.

Thanks.  My wife wound up calling. Easy - they are cancelling the paid excursion and issuing a refund.
