Soda card for kids -- smoothies?

Hi, the soda card for kids -- what is the age limit on that? I have a 15 & 12 year old. Same price? I presume this just means soda -- no fruit smoothies, right? My kids would rather drink fruit juices or smoothies.

 

Also, on the NCL website, they mentioned extra packages you can buy for your kids -- to complement the soda card -- backpack, etc., and on the teens one, it includes SMOOTHIES and some special party. Is this a buy or a waste?

If your kids prefer fruity drinks over soda, then don't even waste your money on the soda card! Just get them a teen passport, which contains 20 coupons for smoothies. If they go through the first book, buy another. They are the best value on the ship!!!!! Any person of any age can use the coupons for the smoothies. ;)

Pepper -- how much is that passport? Sounds like a good deal.

If I recall correctly, it was $34.95, and it included gratuity. It worked out to about $1.50 per smoothie, which is without questions a great bargain! Worth every penny. :D
