Is Anyone On The Valor?

The kids are on their first cruise. We have the grands. It appears there are some waves. My "John Wayne" son in law is complaining about the rough ride. I could have a little fun with this but I want one of them to remember the fun so the grandkids can go next. How rough is it?

 

Personally I would love this cruise. Uneventful cruises are boring. See signature.

Not Valor, but we just got off Dream this morning and it was really rough last night. 

We sailed during hurricane kay and I would say it was comparable to that.

6-9 feet is 6-9 feet more than slick water. He will never cruise again. Hopefully the boss enjoyed herself. We can leave him home to care for pets and all of us can go.

We had really high wind gusts - at one point, the captain ordered everyone inside the vessel (we couldn't even be out on our balconies).

Thanks. I remember it that way during Wilma. We puttered around the Bahamas waiting for her to pass. All was well until a needed turn. Then came the listing and whatever was on one side went to the other. Seriously, I like rough weather on a cruise.
